“Telo”

A semi-sheer maxi dress crafted from delicate mesh fabric with a layered texture and a hand-dyed effect. The surface of the material appears as if burned by light, smoke, and pigment — shades of black, sepia, tobacco, and faded beige flow into one another, creating the impression of aged canvas or oxidized silk.

The silhouette is elongated and narrow, featuring a high neckline and an exposed shoulder line. The translucent structure of the fabric accentuates the body while still preserving a sense of fragility and ambiguity. Vertical seams and inserts visually lengthen the figure, adding graphic precision and architectural depth to the construction.

The main focal point is placed on the back — a long open lacing runs through the entire silhouette, uniting the garment into a single vertical line. This detail evokes the feeling of hand assembly, almost corset-like in construction, contrasting with the fluidity of the semi-transparent fabric.

The material responds to light and movement: in some areas becoming nearly transparent, in others dissolving into a dense dark haze. Because of this, the dress constantly shifts in perception — from ghostly and ethereal to sharp and graphic.
